Things learned:

• I love my age.
• Seeing a NIN show, no matter the conditions, is always an amazing experience.
• Some people surprise me.
• More people appall me.
• Keeping your eyes opened wide is important.
• Meeting people is fun.
• A seemingly unobtainable goal is never unobtainable, it just might take longer than you thought.
• I am not the only one who believes in the power of the universe.
• Eye contact can be more intense/important than words.
• Willpower is everything.
• Fighting "the man" is fun.
• I love the people around me.
• More importantly, the people around me love me.
• Grilled cheese is amazing.
• I have the actual ability to become invisible.
• My knees cannot take on the world.
• Thoughtfulness is the best gift.
  

Let me write while I can. Lots has happened. Even more will be happening soon. Here are the highlights:

• Went to see Slipknot.
• Met Sid, who has two fractured feetsies.
• Found it difficult to speak to someone with no face.
• Took a picture with him in which I look like a douche bag.
• Juggling numerous projects becomes daunting.
• Teenagers invade personal space constantly.
• Good thing I love them.
• Went to Bean's high school function for the freshmen class this year.
• Four different people mistook me for a student rather than a parent.
• I'll be 30 in four days.
• The students were all 14-15 years old.
• Four people!
• One was the principal... and a woman.
• Tomorrow I go see NIN.
• Thursday, I mourn.
• Friday I go see NIN.
• Saturday I'm 30.
• Life is very, very good for this old broad.
  

What are you looking forward to this week?

Two... yes, TWO (!!!) Nine Inch Nails shows.

And... turning 30.

I have finally accepted the number of years I have lived.
